I’m back in broome, did i ever mention how much i love Broome? Went camping in the Kimberleys, it was amazing. when I say camping, it was too hot to stay in a tent. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with swags, swags are canvas, foam and mosquito net sleeping bags which you tie to a tree to keep the top raised. Handy, they take seconds to set up, but are some what scary when you wake up in the middle of the night to find a huge white indian cow with horns grazing next to you. My 4 day trip up the Gibb River included… kangaroos, fresh water turtules, wallabies, tree snakes, crocodiles, fruit bats, bush fires, spiders, caves, gorges, lizards, bungarrows, parrots, cockatoos, willy willy tornados, 47 degrees in the shade and other things that I couldn’t get pictures of. for all the pictures id did get see my photography site

Jayne, Fenn and i, Manning Gorge, Gibb River Road, The Kimberleys, North West Western Australia.

This is a willy willy, a mini torando caused by the heat. That day there was not even a breeze, then in a lengthy second it appeared infront of me, reached 30ft into the air, made a sort of mini torando noise, traveled 20ft in 10 seconds and disapeared. By chance i was photographing something else at the time.
