Got these on Ebay for a steal as they had a little bit of damage – just what i was looking for. Work £250, got them for £80!
but i’ve always hated speaker wood laminate, and these have an ugly pleather baffle. however, they have sexy drivers…
I’ve also never been a fan of covers that clip on with plugs, so i got rid of them and added magnets. Then remade the covers with vintage Tanoy fabric.
After a lot of roundover routing, filling, priming, sanding, filling, sanding, painting.. got them finished!
